Pastora Astrid was born and raised in the municipality of Chiquimula, Guatemala. Astrid is a third-generation believer. As a student of the Glocal Missions Diploma program, she felt the challenge of planting a new congregation. She and her husband intend to reach the approximately 1,000 inhabitants of the region in the village of El Arenal, Pelillo Negro, Jocotan, integrating a pilot leadership group and training native workers, they are working on a social project with the children and women of the community, it also seeks to work social development projects for the entire community, the vision is to equip the new converts so that they can plant another church.
