Pastor Jesse was raised in Sao Paulo. Son of a pastor, Jesse's been a Christian his entire life. Started his bible studies at CEFORTE (Wesleyan Theology Seminary in Sao Paulo) in 2011 finishing it in 2015, he is now finishing a Master in Divinity at Seminario Servo de Cristo. He also has a degree from 2008 in Business Administration.
He has been faithfully serving his church (Igreja Metodista Wesleyana) since his teenage years, been in charge of several ministries within the church such as teenagers, youth, evangelism, and charity.
He has served as pastor assistant for 6 years prior to his assignment as a church planter.
He, his wife Fernanda, and his little daughter Cloe have been called to plant a church in Sao Paulo’s Vila Mariana neighborhood, a centered and very important region of the city with over 400 thousand inhabitants, where there is a lack of churches and where post-modern lifestyle, materialism, and secularism rules. His project is to plan a Christ centered and missional church, focused on community integration, small groups, social work, and evangelism. They already lead a small group in the area which is a starting point for the church. Their goal is by the end of 2023 to have a planted church of 150 people and at least 20 small groups.
 Apart from Portuguese, Pastor Jesse speaks fluently English, Spanish and French.
He's confident that the God who has called him will also provide what's needed to make it happen.
