Pastor Marisa grew up in a very violent and poor family context, where her father was not the best example of life.
One day, while still a child, she received Jesus in her heart and Christ began to be the center of her home.
From then on, she pursued to know God more and to serve Him in any opportunity that came her way.
A few years ago, after a long time of attending church and serving in ministry with her husband, they were both called by God to move to the city of Rio Branco and plant a church there.
Although they did not feel 100% prepared to fulfill this challenge, their pastors and the Holy Spirit encouraged them to trust in God's purposes.
Their goal with this church is that the 301,300 people of this city in Uruguay will be transformed and receive the healing that only God's love and truth can bring.
To achieve this goal, they want their church to work strongly with families, teaching them the purpose God has for them and how the family is the most important institution in society.
Pastor Marisa has put her hope in God's plans for her family and her city. She has no doubt that He and her brothers and sisters in faith will support this great dream."
